Daisy and Hunter drove down from about 2.5 hours away to get to this beautiful desert view for their elopement. Anza Borrego is about a 3 hour drive from the Los Angeles area and is the perfect desert location elopement option if you want landscape that looks like you’re in Utah without the drive. We chose Font’s Point for photos which is a gorgeous view point overlooking the Borrego Badlands. When we met up at the trail head to drive in together we noticed a whole bunch of Jeeps coming off the trail since this is a popular 4WD road. Beware – you can’t drive on this sandy road without a 4WD vehicle or else you’ll get stuck! It was a fun ride up to the parking lot and hardly any people when we got there an hour before the sun set. Sunset was GORG and Daisy’s dress was so stunning blowing in the wind! Once the sun set the beautiful hues of pink, blue and purple lined the horizon with a perfect contrast against the tan rocks in the distance. We headed back to our car to drive down the sandy road before it got dark. These two were so laid back and so much fun to work with!
