Canyonlands National Park Moab Elopement

Shan and Ervis knew that they wanted to have an elopement in Moab, Utah. So we decided to pick Canyonlands National Park! You really can’t go wrong with any Moab location. They drove all the way down from Ohio on a 20 hour drive which made their elopement even more special! These two wanted to have a private ceremony with just to be the two of them – so we went on a short little trail in the park. Canyonlands is one of the lesser known parks so there was hardly any people in the park which was amazing. This park is one of the most highly underrated parks in Utah in my opinion – the views are incredible! We took a few portraits at the first location and walked for a little bit on a short trail where Shan and Ervis exchanged their vows as the sun set.Being the only one there to witness vows reminds me of how special my job really is. One of the reasons I love this job is because I get to be a part of my couple’s wedding experience from the when they first reach out and I help them plan until the day of their elopement. After sharing their vows, they popped a bottle of champagne and celebrated their marriage. We stood and watched the sunset as the colors lit up the sky then headed back down the trail as the night ended.
